The Void Forge

From the Forest to the Forge.

By day, I’m managing forestry operations in the New Brunswick woods. By night, I’m building at The Void Forge—where heavy machinery meets 3D design and digital fabrication.

Built on Forestry

I don’t just sit behind a screen. My background is in full-time forestry operations. It’s a world defined by:

  • Precision & Scale: Operating and maintaining heavy gear where there’s zero room for error.
  • Responsibility: Managing land, safety, and the logistics of moving timber.
  • Problem Solving: If a machine breaks in the woods, you fix it. I bring that same "make it work" mindset to every 3D print and technical project.

Digital Craftsmanship

The Void Forge is my creative lab. It’s where I experiment with 3D printing, local AI, and new materials to create functional, meaningful items.

The Current Focus: I’m currently bridging the gap between natural forestry materials and modern tech—specifically developing custom Pet Urn Displays that offer a respectful, high-tech tribute to our companions.

Why "The Void Forge"? Because every project starts as a blank space (the void) and gets hammered into reality through trial, error, and a lot of filament.

The Toolkit

I’m a believer in localized tech. I run my own local AI models and push my printers—like the Kobra 3 Max and Centauri Carbon—to their absolute limits. I prefer tools that are open, customizable, and capable of professional-grade results.

Outside the Forge

When the machines are off, I’m a dad of two and a caretaker to a small zoo of family pets. This site isn’t a corporate resume; it’s a notebook for my projects and a way to share what I’m building with the world.
